Sunday Mornings
Children ages 1 through 1st Grade
During the sermon, we offer a children’s class for our youngest children. Our children’s class is not simply childcare, but times of intentional teaching, crafts, songs, and fun to help raise our children in the Lord. Our children ages 1 through First Grade are currently going through The Kingdom of God Storybook Bible.
Per our policy, all childcare workers have had their backgrounds checked and we have a strict policy of never allowing an adult to be alone with a child or a group of children.
2nd- 5th Grade
We believe the best way to disciple children on Sunday mornings is not to take them out of the corporate gathering into their own kid’s gathering, but to incorporate them into the Sunday gatherings. By having children stay in the gathering, they see their parents and other adults worshipping the Lord, engage with the sacraments, and experience Christian fellowship with believers of all ages we believe our children will have a richer understanding of what it means to follow Jesus.
However, we do offer a Sunday School class before our time of worship. At 9 AM, our 2nd through 5th graders receive four years of instruction. The first two years are a walk through the Scriptures using The Biggest Story Bible Curriculum, and the last two years, we teach them systematic theology using The New City Catechism.
