Our Leadership
We are committed to providing Sojourn's essential operations with a humility that reflects the character and nature of God. The following staff members serve in their positions in either a full-time or part-time capacity.
Pastor
Taylor Ince
As a pastor of Sojourn Galleria, Taylor oversees the preaching ministry at Sojourn, and he provides overall leadership for the ministries of Sojourn Galleria Church. Both he and Robin, his wife, are Houston natives, and they are excited to be joining in with what God is doing in the Galleria area of Houston!
Taylor studied at Wake Forest University (history), Reformed Theological Seminary (Divinity), and The University of Edinburgh, New College (Ph.D. in Old Testament). He is a 2015 graduate of the Houston Church Planting Network finishing residency.
Chase Woodhouse
Chase serves as Executive Pastor at Sojourn Galleria Church. He and his wife Rachel love Houston and are eager to join the Lord in the renewal of all things in Houston’s Galleria area!
Chase is a graduate of Howard Payne University (Christian Education), and is currently pursuing a Masters degree at Union School of Theology (UK).
Pastor
Katherine Glenn
Director of Operations
Katherine serves as the Director of Operations at Sojourn Galleria. In that role, she is responsible for the processes, documentation and weekly operations. With her background working in a corporate environment doing change management, project management and data analysis, Katherine brings structure and direction to the team.
In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, playing board games, and being outdoors.
Arun Abraham
Worship Director
Arun attended Grace School of Theology and has served as a worship leader for most of his life. He has worked with kids, college students and adults as well. He also loves to write music in his spare time.
Elders
Sojourn Galleria is an Elder-led Congregation. This means the congregation is served and shepherded by a plurality of men who meet the qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. At Sojourn, our elders oversee the doctrine, discipline, and direction of the church. These men may or may not be paid by the church, but they share the responsibility of shepherding our church with wisdom and integrity (Ephesians 4:1-16, 1 Peter 5).
DEACONS
Our neighborhood parishes are, in many ways, the backbone of the day-to-day ministry that happens at and through Sojourn Galleria. Our neighborhood parishes are led by men and women, each qualified (1 Timothy 3:8-13) and ordained (Acts 6:1-6) deacons for the purpose of fostering gospel family in their parishes.
